Professional Business Clothing Video

This video is about appropriate business clothing and what to wear in the office. It really explains what I have been trying to say this whole time. It shows women how to dress and what should be worn in the office and what should not be worn.

I believe that videos can support textual information. Sometimes a video can give a more clear understanding of what the blogger is trying to get at. It also gives the reader a variety of what to do on your blog postings. It makes them more interested in your blog and shows the readers that you are basing your information on more than one source.
Embedding a video is different that adding a link to a video, because when you set up a link, it takes you to the website where the video is. As for embedding, the video is right there and you don't need to click on a link to go on to a new page. This is more helpful for the readers cause it is easier for them to view your videos.

Business Clothing Picture

I chose to add this picture to my blog to show appropriate business clothing for ladies. There are two different outfits being shown. A ladies suit and jacket with a pencil skirt. Everything is nicely fitted and the skirt is not short either, it is a perfect length for looking professional. I think pictures are a good thing for blogs because the blogger is then able to show their viewers what they are talking about, and what they really mean. It also gives the readers a good visual too. This way they are not lost and more able to relate to the bloggers topic. It grabs the readers attention, and most likely they will want to read your blog to find out about the picture as well. In regards to the comment  “visuals in blogs can disrupt the posting of critically important information.” I believe that this can also be true. Sometimes the photos take away from the importance of the bloggers topic and set of tone.

I found an article from Zero Million on business clothing. This article is by Joe Thorpe, and he explains that it is important to "dress for success." When looking for business clothes people need to choose the right clothes for the right occasion. This will increase a person's approach and enhance their confidence a well. First impressions are always important and people want to make a great first impression, and they can do that by wearing the appropriate attire.
I agree with this article because I also believe you need to look your best at all times. Especially in the business world, you want to get taken seriously. How can you get taken seriously if you do not look put together? You won't, and it will make people not want to approach you. I like how he says that there are different clothing attire for different situations. You don't want to be wearing a nice sport jacket when you are in a business meeting. That is just not correct. People should want to look their best and make sure they do it too, because really we never know just who we are going to see or who is going to approach us.
